Privacy Policy

How Main Street Profit handles the information you put into the app, in plain English.

Effective / last updated: August 27, 2026

Launch contact details will be added before public release. Legal entity name, mailing address, governing jurisdiction and support contact are not yet finalized and appear as placeholders in this draft.

Who this covers

This policy applies to the Main Street Profit web app operated by Ricky’s Variety Store LLC.

Information we handle

  • Account and login information — the email address and password credential used to create and access your account. Passwords are handled by our authentication provider, not stored in readable form by us.
  • Profile and business information — the owner name, business name and business type you enter in Settings.
  • Saved menu-item inputs and calculations — item names, selling prices, ingredient, packaging and labor costs, units per week, target margins, and the results calculated from them.
  • Subscription and billing metadata — plan, subscription status, paid-through date, and the customer and subscription identifiers returned by our payment processor. Main Street Profit does not store full payment card numbers.
  • Technical and security logs — where our hosting, database or payment providers generate request, error or security logs as part of running the service.

We do not use advertising trackers, analytics products or marketing cookies in the current app.

Why we handle it

  • to create your account and sign you in;
  • to run the calculators and member tools you use;
  • to save and show your menu items and analyses;
  • to process subscriptions and control access to paid features;
  • to keep the service secure and investigate abuse;
  • to troubleshoot problems and improve the product;
  • to meet legal, tax and record-keeping obligations.

Service providers we use

  • Stripe — payment processing, subscription billing and the customer billing portal.
  • Supabase — authentication and the database that stores your profile, saved items and subscription status.
  • Lovable and its hosting infrastructure — building, delivering and running the application.

These providers process information on our behalf so the service can function. We do not sell your information.

Retention

We keep account, profile and saved-item data while your account exists and for a reasonable period afterwards to handle support, billing records and legal obligations. Billing records may be retained longer where required by law. Provider logs are kept according to those providers' own schedules.

Security

Access to your saved data is restricted to your own account through database-level access rules, and traffic is encrypted in transit. No online service can promise perfect security, so please use a strong, unique password and let us know about anything that looks wrong.

Your choices and requests

You can view and update your profile and saved items directly in the app, and delete saved items at any time. For access, correction or deletion of other information, contact us through the Help & Contact page.

Depending on where you live, additional privacy rights may apply to you. We do not claim to be certified under any specific privacy framework. Requests will be handled through support once contact details are finalized, and we will explain what we can do in your situation.

Children

The service is built for business owners and is not intended for children. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

Where the service operates

The service is oriented to businesses in the United States. If you use it from elsewhere, your information may be processed in the United States by us and our providers.

Updates and contact

We will update this policy as the product changes and revise the date at the top of the page. getmainstreetprofit@gmail.com
