Terms of Service

Main Street Profit is a set of practical profit tools for independent food businesses — restaurants, delis, cafes, food trucks and ice cream shops. The service includes menu calculators and estimates, saved menu-item analysis, marketing idea tools, a community area that is still in development, and paid subscription features.

The service is operated by Ricky’s Variety Store LLC. By creating an account or using the tools, you agree to these terms.

You agree to provide accurate account details and accurate business inputs — costs, prices, volumes and margins. The tools can only be as accurate as the numbers you enter.

Keep your login credentials secure and do not share them. You are responsible for activity under your account. Tell us promptly if you believe your account has been accessed without your permission.

You must be old enough to enter a contract and must use the service lawfully.

Paid plans are monthly subscriptions that renew automatically until you cancel. The price and currency shown at checkout apply to your subscription.

Payments are processed by Stripe. Main Street Profit does not store your full card details. You can cancel at any time from Billing in Settings or through the Stripe billing portal. Cancellation stops future renewals; access generally continues through the end of the period you already paid for.

Every figure the service produces is an estimate calculated from the data you enter and from stated assumptions — for example, that your sales volume stays the same after a price change. Real results depend on your customers, your market, your costs and your operations.

Main Street Profit does not guarantee any level of profit, revenue, savings, pricing outcome, customer demand, tax or accounting result, or any other business outcome. See the disclaimer for detail on what each number means.

The service is informational. It is not accounting, tax, legal, investment, employment, food-safety, or other professional advice. Please confirm important decisions with a qualified professional who knows your business.

You keep ownership of your business and menu data. You grant us only the limited rights needed to host, process and display that data so we can operate the service for you — for example, storing your saved items and running calculations on them.

We handle personal information as described in the Privacy Policy.

Please do not:

• break the law or infringe someone else's rights while using the service;
• attempt to access accounts, data or systems you are not authorized to access;
• interfere with, overload or probe the service or its providers;
• copy, resell or redistribute the service or its content as your own product;
• upload malicious code or use automated tools to scrape the service at scale.

You can stop using the service and close your account at any time. We may suspend or end access if an account is used in a way that breaks these terms, creates legal or security risk, or if payment fails. Where practical, we will give notice and an opportunity to fix the problem first.

The product is actively being developed. Features may be added, changed or removed. If we make a significant change that reduces a paid feature you rely on, we will aim to give reasonable notice.

The service — including its software, design, calculators, written content and branding — belongs to Ricky’s Variety Store LLC or its licensors, except for the data you provide. Your subscription gives you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the service for your own business.

Note: the product name is currently in preliminary clearance and no claim of registered trademark status is made.

The service is provided "as is" and "as available." We do our best to keep it accurate and running, but we cannot promise it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any calculation will fit every situation. To the extent permitted by law, implied warranties are disclaimed.

To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for lost profits, lost revenue or lost data arising from your use of the service. Our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid for it in the twelve months before the claim arose.

Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.

You agree to cover reasonable losses and legal costs we incur from claims caused by your misuse of the service, your unlawful activity, or your breach of these terms.

We may update these terms as the product evolves. When we do, we will update the date at the top of this page and, for material changes, provide notice in the app. Continuing to use the service after an update means you accept the revised terms.

The governing jurisdiction for these terms is the State of Missouri, United States and will be stated here before public release. No arbitration or dispute-resolution venue is specified in this draft.
